    1. Well done! I cut the sprouting skin off a potato and buried it in the soil. Do you know if I'll get potatoes or would that require some sort of propagating?

    1. I didn't know either. Check out growing your own in post on You Tube. However, be careful of potato blight or you'll have to emigrate to America to avoid famine.

  5. That's what happens if you leave potatoes to grow old too. I think they will seed in good soil. Do let us know.

    1. I don't think anything will happen with these as the pot is too small and there's no room to up soil. I am tempted to give it a go in a proper pot though, int he spring. I'll let you know.

  6. Great stuff! Also if you cut the top off a daikon (big radish type think) and leave it in a dish of water, you can grow a flower from it! I know because my friend did it and I wondered what on earth it was! :D
