There are Christian Arabs, churches, monasteries, convents, the International Christian Union, the Mormon College, Members of the UN, the foreign media, foreign consulate staff, students and scholars on sabbatical or exchange/volunteer programmes. It all adds up.
They give then out free every year so people wait until the 23rd. I think you can register in order to reserve a tree and so they know about how many to bring. We don't have any Christmas hype here so there's no hurry to get it up and running 2 weeks before.
What a lovely idea, are there many that celebrate Christmas?
