Then I do a smaller shop each week for fresh produce, dairy, fish, and baked goods. I never stick to the system. This whole lockdown period has saved me grocery money because I don't pop into the mini-market on my way home to grab something for supper. I've been making do with what we have.
Good luck with your delivery on Monday.
Rachel Selbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13113411205306116614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-692517788030253147.post-58011729238571115002020-06-06T16:28:13.067+03:002020-06-06T16:28:13.067+03:00Glad to hear that you are both doing well and have...Glad to hear that you are both doing well and have all the supplies you need.
Will you have to be tested before either of you can go out again or does the quarantine period suffice?

I actually placed my first online grocery order yesterday. I normally manage fine with my bundle buggy - but - I wanted to be registered somewhere with an online service (just in case for winter) so decided to go with Instacart as it allows me to shop at my favourite supermarket (although I don't get my loyalty points). I decided that I might as well get a lot of canned items since they are so heavy and they can all go into the pantry. It's booked for delivery on Monday between 2 and 4pm so we'll see how they do. Like you, I actually enjoy grocery shopping so I'll probably use this service maybe once every 6 weeks or so and concentrate on one or two areas just to see how they do.Margie from Torontohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103835021764804099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-692517788030253147.post-57877166913091865342020-06-06T02:09:29.702+03:002020-06-06T02:09:29.702+03:00Thanks Becky. If it comes out more than I wanted to spend I can just delete a few of the unnecessary items. I used to often get my shopping online in the UK, especially when I was pregnant but I had no real need to as I had transport and it was easy enough to do especially before kids! Cyprus hasn't got the hang of online shopping at all, although there were some schemes hastily set up at the start of lockdown, all a bit rubbish though if you are able to get out but a godsend for anyone in isolation.
