Actually from your photos it looks a lovely carpet. It would be a big hassle and not worth doing until the summer. My balcony is too narrow for it to lay out on the floor. Maybe if I put a table outside and lay it over that. I'll let you know if I try it in the summer. xx
Rachel Selbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13113411205306116614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-692517788030253147.post-86088204451014482272018-02-18T13:11:33.802+02:002018-02-18T13:11:33.802+02:00I'm wondering if sunshine will fade it better....I'm wondering if sunshine will fade it better. It does here when I definitely don't want it to. Can you lay it out on your balcony or outside somewhere? Bonus of no drying out time or smelly results. I agree with you about the cushions. I'm going to look for a more subdued colour. Much easier than changing the rug. While I like your existing cushions perhaps their style & colour are fighting a bit with the rug? With so much pattern in the rug perhaps plainer cushions in a couple of complementary shades might work better?
FYI - when my rug was smelling a bit stale after last winter I shook a big box of baking soda over it - left it overnight and then vacuumed like crazy and it did help a lot.Margie from Torontohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103835021764804099noreply@blogger.com
