And Massada.
And once in Eilat we found a little bit of paradise waiting for us.
Best of all we found our cousins (my sister's family) by the pool.

Chilling is good. My moment was a relaxing coffee on the balcony overlooking the marina while DD went down to the pool with her cousins.
Can't beat chilling with a coffee and a view |
Just chilling out on the beach |
Three days in paradise with sun, sea, sand, pool and family (and quite a lot of good food not cooked by us). Just perfect.
Nice, relaxing post, and great photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it was a very relaxing weekend.
DeleteLooks perfect. It reminded me of my trip through the dessert on a very uncomfortable bus down to Eilat. We were a UK youth group trip (so many years ago) and found it so funny when the mirage of a coca-cola kiosk in this vast sea of sand turned out to be real :-)
ReplyDeleteI remember those days, when Eilat was one dusty road, a couple of hotels, a kiosk, and the beach. Now it's a small town with a shopping mall, an airport, and about 50 hotels.
DeleteIt certainly does look like paradise, and a reminder of why I still hope to live beside the sea one day!
ReplyDeleteNot too close though - I've been seeing those horrific landslide stories from the English coastline.
DeleteLooks fantastic.... how lovely for you all. And dolphins! X
ReplyDeleteThe dolphins were the icing on the cake, definitely.
