Tonight we lit the seventh candle with friends. Only one more to go - tomorrow night we light all eight candles (plus the server candle making nine candles in total). My friends S and R took these photos. I guess eight nights is enough as apparently it's already becoming old hat for DD. Or maybe she was just tired.

What again we have to do this? |

I can't take much more of this.

what a beautiful photo of you both.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I also rather like this one and it's unusual for me to be ok with a picture of me.
DeleteAgreed, that is a very lovely picture of you both, and the last picture is just priceless! Enjoy your evening! Emma :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma. Part of the joy is that it's the final night and DD goes back to kindergarten on Monday. Also I have some leftover presents so they'll be a bumper crop this evening. Everyone's happy!
ReplyDeleteI do have to chuckle here! We are starting to get those looks in our house as well. Love the photos though! I am looking forward to Monday too ;) and school!
ReplyDeleteHi Diane (and Conor) - the looks disappear quite quickly when the presents come out though :).
DeleteThat really made me laugh - fabulous photos - DD's expression in the second picture is priceless.
ReplyDeleteI know, I also LOLed when my friend sent it to me.
DeleteDDs likeness of you is simply incredible. It looks a beautiful time X
ReplyDeleteShe does look very much like me (luckily for us) and it is a beautiful time. xx
DeleteI guess it does get to be a bit much (love the look on her face).
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a little kid, after the 2 seder nights, I was convinced there'd be a seder each of the 8 nights of Pesach. I remember being surprised and relieved that we stopped at 2.
OMG, just the thought of eight seder nights in a row is traumatic.
DeleteOh dear! I was always under the impression that Hanukkah was kind of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun but there is a bit blessing the candles to get through (taking about 10 mins) before the presents and it can get tedious for a littlun.
