I'm joining The Gallery this week, over at Sticky Fingers. The theme is: morning.
As the mother of an impressionable 3yo daughter, my example has taught her the importance of a good morning facial routine. The lesson has been so well learned that I find myself hiding the jar of moisturizer. On occasions when I forget and leave it on my dressing table in plain sight, this happens:
Pop over to The Gallery to see more photographic interpretations of morning.
Moisturizer or not, she is just beautiful! Those eyes!!
ReplyDeleteThanks TrollMamma - and the eyes have never even been moisturized!
DeleteBrilliant! Not a bad habit to get into though! She is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicola - I do have a few good habits so it is nice if she picks up on them. Though I didn't mean her to start this one just yet.
DeleteAh! Hope it's not £300 a pot ! She's beautiful already though :)
ReplyDeletehaha - no it isn't. I actually blend a cheap face cream with a high factor sunscreen as we live in a sunny climate.
DeleteShe looks so pleased with herself in the bottom photo. What a lovely smile. These pics reminded me of my own childhood stealing my mum's oil of olay!
ReplyDeleteI used to do that to - when it was called Oil of Ulay in the UK!
Deletegosh she is stunning - good habits begin early - Well done her!
ReplyDeleteThank you. She actually onlly gets to do it when I haven't managed to get up and ready before she's awake. She's not a morning person (unfortunately for her) and I usually have to wake her up.
DeleteHa ha I know that feeling, my 18 month old girl can't wait to get in my cupboard and go through my make up, jewellery etc x
ReplyDeleteWarning: It gets worse, lock up your lotions and potions!
DeleteI hope it's edible. Looks like there might be more INSIDE her than OUTSIDE!
ReplyDeleteWhat doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
DeleteShe definitely looks as though she's the cat that got the cream!(sorry couldn't resist.) She is really is beautiful. Enjoy -the time goes way too fast.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Gilly, and thank you. I can already feel that babyhood has long gone and I only brought her home yesterday.
DeleteWhat a sweetheart and such a gorgeous little girl. I don't think she needs to worry about wrinkles any time soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree but try telling her.
DeleteOh, look at that face! How can you resist?! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteXxX
I admit it - I can't resist!
DeleteAhh, little girls wanting to be like Mummy are SO cute! And good habit's start early!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean 'like' Mummy - she thinks she is the Mummy!
DeleteWhat a beautiful little girl.
ReplyDeleteJust reading the comments section about mixing sun-cream with moisturising cream - what a good idea, and so simple.
I too remember Oil of Ulay.
It's so hard to find a moisturizer with UV protection that is also not very expensive. And if you look at the ingredients, most moisturizers have the same inside whatever the price.
Deletehaha too cute x
ReplyDeleteAnd she knows it!
DeleteAdorable and obviously listening to everything you teach her :)
ReplyDeleteListening yes, and then doing whatever she want to do!
Deleteshe doesn't need any beauty aids!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I know this but she doesn't.
DeleteHow absolutely adorable and a great routine to adopt x
ReplyDeleteThank you - who's supplying the face cream though?
DeleteMy 4 year-old boy is also addicted :) Absolutely loves my deodorant too (though locating his underarms is a bit of a challenge). Thanks for sharing such gorgeous pics.
ReplyDeleteI read this comment quietly to myself - I don't want to give her any ideas about the deodorant! Thank you.
DeleteWell, it's important to get into a good routine early I suppose! ;)
ReplyDeleteI agrre actually. I'm starting her on stomach crunches and stretching exercises next week.
